For me, jigsaw puzzles are more than a way to pass the time; they’re a portal to adventure. While I’m a 300-piece devote – there’s something wonderfully cozy about conquering a smaller world—I’ve braved plenty of 500, 750 and 1,000-piece behemoths.

As a traveler and blogger, I crave experiences that broaden my horizons, and travel-themed puzzles are an extension of that wanderlust. Piecing together a bustling Moroccan marketplace or a tranquil Tuscan vineyard allows me to visit those vibrant destinations, one piece at a time.

When I’m not traveling, I dedicate my time to practicing my speed puzzling, finding a unique, thrilling rhythm in the race against the clock. In 2022, I attended a jigsaw puzzle convention in Las Vegas and earlier in 2026, I attended a national jigsaw puzzle competition event in Atlanta.  I have been actively practicing my speed puzzling to see just how fast my fingers can fly.

Why do I do it? Because in a world that often feels fragmented, puzzles remind me of the beauty of piecing things together.

I’m a “puzzler on the go.” Whether I’m in a local café or on a cross-country flight, a puzzle box is usually peeking out of my backpack. I’m always chasing the next piece of the world—both literally and figuratively—and I’d love to swap stories of faraway lands with you over a table of tiny cardboard tiles.  Happy Puzzling!
